Terms of Sale & Use
Adapt (“the app”) is a paid Android application published by Cimbolic Productions. By purchasing or using the app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Adapt suggests training loads by doing arithmetic on the numbers you log. It is not a doctor, a coach, or a physiotherapist. It cannot see your form, your injuries, your sleep, or how you feel today. Resistance training carries a real risk of injury. Consult a qualified physician before starting any new training programme, stop immediately if you feel pain, and treat every suggested weight as a starting point for your own judgement — never an instruction.
What you're buying
A one-time purchase of Adapt grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the app on devices associated with your Google account, for as long as Google Play makes it available to you. You are buying a licence to use the software, not ownership of it.
Payment and refunds
- Google Play is the seller of record. All payments are processed by Google. Cimbolic Productions never sees or handles your card details.
- Refunds are handled by Google Play under their standard policy, which includes an automatic refund window after purchase. Request refunds through Google Play, not through us.
- Price and taxes are shown by Google Play at checkout in your local currency, inclusive of any applicable tax.
No subscription, no in-app purchases
Adapt is a single one-time purchase. There is no subscription, no recurring charge, no in-app purchase, no advertising, and no paid coaching tier. Nothing in the app will ever ask you for more money.
What the app does not do
- No account, no cloud. The app has no sign-up and no server. Your training data is stored only on your device.
- No data collection. See the privacy policy — the app collects, transmits and shares nothing.
- Your data is your responsibility. Because nothing is backed up to a server, uninstalling the app, clearing its storage, or losing the device permanently deletes your logs. Use More → Export training data to keep your own copy.
Acceptable use
You may not redistribute, resell, sublicense, or publish the app or its assets, or attempt to circumvent the purchase. You may not present the app as your own work.
Warranty and liability
The app is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cimbolic Productions is not liable for any injury, loss of data, or other damages arising from use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing here affects your statutory consumer rights.
Changes
These terms may be updated as the app changes. The “last updated” date above always reflects the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms.
